We were amazed when a big group of Love Bussers pooled their money to make a big donation that earned them a private party, and we spent an amazing afternoon and evening with music, friends, and love. After “regular” weekend gigs in Boone and Mooresville, it was great to be able to relax and socialize on a laid-back Sunday afternoon.Dickie and Jenn Clowers graciously hosted us at Dickie’s family farm. Brian here. As we enter this next phase for BDL I want to thank everyone for responding to the announcement with a spirit of optimism and excitement about our next step with the music. Some of the best advice I’ve ever received was about riding motorcycles– sport bikes specifically– and an experienced rider told me, “If you go into a turn at 100mph you better come out of it at 120mph.” I didn’t truly understand what he was saying but one day everything snapped into place and I realized the wisdom of that statement (don’t worry, I was going a little less than 100 by the way…).
